Hope Has Wings

This piece started as an experiment with layering and height early on in my mosaic journey. The layering on the wings creates the effect of a butterfly taking flight off the sky blue background. Using butterflies in the tiling design on the background is another nod to this beautiful creature that symbolizes hope and personal growth.
